GDL is currently an Assistant Vice President - Training & Development and Head of Soft Skills Training at Imarticus Learning Pvt Ltd. GDL is the Founder and Lead Trainer at Project-7 and Ex-Director of Achieve School of Business. With over 9 years of entrepreneur experience, GDL has been in education and training as a trainer with a firm called “PROJECT-7", which is into life skills, motivation and self-development training. Helping students overcome fear builds their interpersonal skills. It makes them realize how important it is to think out of the box, be creative, and understand themselves better so that they step into a happier tomorrow.

Believing in revolutionizing the education system, GDL started by organizing workshops on personality development, teamwork and leadership for students aged between 14-22 years. Since 19th January 2013, GD has completed workshops on leadership, personality development, motivation, life skills, time management, stress management, communications, and inter and intra-personal skills to over 35,000+ students and professionals across various schools, and colleges and corporates. Some of them are at Jain College Jayanagar(PU+UG+PG), Jain college V.V.Puram(PU+UG), Jain College J.C.Road(PU+UG), Jain University, V.E.T. School, St. Marks School, Christ Junior College, Christ University, Maharaja Sayyajirao University – Baroda, Ahmedabad University, Kammavari Sangha Institute of Technology (KSIT), Sai Ram College of Engineering, SRCE, Doon International School (Dehradun), National Institute of Engineering (NIE Mysuru), Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE), BMS College of Engineering, IFIM and many more.

GDL was also the Licensee and Curator of TEDxDSCE, an independently organized TED event. GDL has been to more than 75 inter-collegiate fests across Bengaluru as a judge for events like Best Manager, Personality, Debate, Extempore, Human Resources, Public Relations, Marketing and many more at Jain University, Christ University, Jyoti Nivas, Mount Carmel, BMSCE, DSCE, BMS Law, PES, PESIT, MLAC, MLACW, SRCE, Bishop Cottons and many more.

 

GDL was a speaker at TEDxGlobalAcademy on 27th April 2018.

GDL launched his Self Help Book titled "Talk without F.E.A.R", on 17th January 2021.
